Saxtons River Park

Public Outreach & Park Design

Saxtons River, Vermont

Working with the Saxtons River trustees, the public, Weston & Sampson Environmental Consultants, DBS Surveys, Hartgen Archeological Associates, Windham Regional Commision, and b.green Landscape Architecture we have set out to help develop a concept for a public park along the Saxtons River.

The parcel has historical significance from the mills that once sat along the river, and is currently a brownfield site contaminated with lead, arsenic, and PAHs. The third public meeting to present the final design was held on February 27th.
