Mountain Retreat

Working with the client for several years, this property has phased into a beautiful Mountain Retreat. Dry laid stone retaining walls create space for multiple gardens, a fire pit, screened room, and hot tub on this steep mountain slope. The cedar deck and custom railings were added to the existing cabin to accentuate the view from above, while creating an alluring space below. The guest house was sighted with consideration to views, approach, and driving needs. The stone veneer and walls were constructed from stones of similar character and quality in order to create cohesion throughout the property. Landscape lighting, a computerized irrigation system, and the heated cobble driveway all compliment a mountain residence which is both rustic yet thoughtfully designed.
