Garden Woodland

This woodland inspired entrance created with Sweet Woodruff, Trillium, Myrtle, Black-eyed Susan, Daylilies and other groundcovers is planted in drifts among Sugar Maple, Hawthorn, Ash and Sweet Gum trees selected for variety in flower, size, height, and fall color. The selected specimen hardwoods and perennials are sited on reestablished grades mimicking the original contours of the land prior to the blasting of the house site. They are used to blend the construction into the surrounding woodland.
